We are placing underwater concrete "tremie seal" in thirty foot deep cofferdam. Tremie seal concrete allows the cofferdam to be dewatered to facilitate construction of the structural concrete substructure. Over 1,400 cubic yards of concrete were placed beginning at 6 am. The C-44 Pump Station is a critical component of the Florida Everglades Restoration effort.
